Automotive Forum Leads Off 2012 Series

Area Development's 2012 Consultants Forum Series will lead off it's seventh year with the Automotive Forum  -the first of five conference events in 2012 -  at the Atlanta Four Seasons Hotel, April 10-12.

The auto sector is adding steady investment and creating new jobs throughout North America from both domestic and global companies. This Automotive Forum will focus on the best strategies needed to attract prospects within this resurgent multi-tiered market sector, the trends that will lead it over the next 5-10 years and the key factors EDCs must know to have success in gaining new investment .

Invited speakers will include site consultants working with today's auto related projects, research and marketing specialists and corporate executives from the auto sector.The Forum is specifically geared for those locations who have or who are seeking to gain increase investment from this sector.

The 12th Consultants Forum held at Austin's Four Seasons Hotel , December 4-6  had more than 100 economic development professionals from across North America in  attendance to participate in its three day program. The program featured speakers from among leading global site consultancies, several corporate executives  including a CEO, Corporate Counsel and CRE who spoke to specific case histories and a panel of logistics experts.

Attendee evaluation forms ranked this Forum one of the highest in terms of  speaker line up, program quality and  hotel venue of any Forum to date. The Monday night reception and dinner held at the James Beard recognized Vince Young Steakhouse created an exceptional networking evening .
